Difference between Liquid and Fluid

 Liquid means those matters which don't posses it's shape and size and Fluid is the substance which can't resist shear stress acting on it. Fluids includes both liquid and gaseous substance. Examples of liquid are water, oil, petroleum and examples of fluid are all liquids and gases and air.
